Dear Members of our CMP Learning Community,

Thank you for participating in the recent Stakeholder Survey of the 2019-2020 School Calendar.  This survey was designed to gather input regarding the intersession schedule.

Of the 1400 respondents, there was great support for dividing the four weeks of intersession equally, with two weeks at Winter Break and two weeks during Spring Break.  Notably, there were also comments from the community with some common threads, as follows:

  • A preference for a later August start date (August 14, 2019 vs. August 7, 2019)
  • A preference for a longer Summer Break
  • A preference for a shorter Spring Break

Accordingly, we are inviting you to respond to a short follow-up survey.  Our goal is to review your preferences and make a final recommendation to the CMP Governing Board.  Both options will allow CMP to meet California’s 180-day school year requirement.

Click here to take the survey.  Input will be received through Friday, September 28.

Thanks, as always, for your support.

Gary Bowman, M.S.Ed.
